Common Sense Leadership

Who is Jason Aikens?
A Neighbor,
Not a Politician
Jason Aikens is a lifelong resident of Winchester and Frederick County — a businessman, a family man, and a neighbor who has spent decades investing in this community.
As a leader at the Aikens Group, he oversees a family enterprise of more than 300 employees working across construction, real estate, and hospitality. He knows what it takes to manage budgets, make hard decisions, and deliver results.
Jason currently serves as a Planning Commissioner and has been active on community boards and committees throughout his career. He’s not a career politician looking for the next rung — he’s someone who has already been doing the work, and is ready to do more.
Why He’s Running
Frederick County is growing. That growth needs direction.
Our county is changing. New development, new residents, new demands on infrastructure and services. That’s not a bad thing — but only if we manage it with discipline and foresight.
Jason is running for Supervisor because he believes the Gainesboro District deserves leadership that’s proactive, not reactive. The same principles that guide a successful business — planning ahead, living within your means, investing wisely, and being accountable — should guide how we govern.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about making sure Frederick County is prepared for what’s ahead.
